For anyone reading this who is unsure of abbreviations GOTW means Game of the Week.
I read this whole thread all 15 pages of it and it wasn't until I sat and thought about it for a while that the penny dropped. Maybe it's my age.
However, I do think it's in the spirit of money saving to be pleasant to any newcomers asking a question.0 -
Any luck in manchester guys or have all the tescos nationwaide stopped the consoles ?If people cant help people on these threads, then they should rather not say anything then say something which isnt any use to the person who needs help0

I'd be tempted to believe that there is a 'black flag' in operation were it not for Jango's treatment on his first RnR outing ...
Bizarre, maybe there is a trigger point when you done R&R's a few times, i.e. more than my twice?0 -
so can anyone confirm if the xbox 360 and gotw the godfather is not showing the £20 off?Trophies are like Buses, you wait 26 years.
Then 3 come along at once!!!!0 -

I have been to 4 stores today and had the same experiance, they either don't have the game or they don't have the console... or they don't have the poster up - bad R&R day on consoles
On the pluss side though got £30 worth of meat - chickens, pork chops and a joint of (finest...)beef, so can not grumble really.I'm new, but keen:j0 -

Yeah i remember that, it will be interesting to see how you get on. What did you R&R on again? As I recall it was a PSP and something small wasn't it (meat?).0 -

Right it's settled. If it's reached the point where managers are having tantrums and threatening the police in full public view, it's over before it's begun for me because I'm in a senior public facing job so can't afford the bad image!
Dammit!0
