It applies to ALL tesco stores. The only thing it doesn't apply to is .com.

    hi
does R&R kick in if the item is UNDER priced?! been looking at an MP3 player that 1) has 2 different prices on the SEL and 2) scans up cheeper than both of the SELs?!!
any ideas ? Never done an R&R so havent got the bottle to go big first time!

You won't get a refund if you are undercharged. Tesco changed that bit of the policy a few years back. It only works if they overcharge you.

True say thats what i was thinking. The only one in manchester that i can think of is the one off the motorway in stockport.

Why don't you visit Tesco site and find all the other stores. Or just search on 192.com it will broaden your horizons. There are loads of them in Manchester. Good luck.

Not only does Manchester have loads, but the whole of the North West is awash with Tesco Extra's. Just off the top of my head you have:
    Horwich
    Leyland
    Wigan
    Chorley
    Blackpool
    Irlam
    Stockport

I wish Yorkshire was as good!

  • Constantine: quick question for you. Would you give a full refund on an item bought without the discount promised by an out of date offer kicking in? Would you see it as an overcharge, or would you say "Sorry, love. That offer's out of date. I'll give you the difference."

I would never say Sorry Love, its just not me. Tried it once, it just did not sound right.

Would I give a refund because the discount on the point of sale did not come off? Yes. Would I still do it if the POS was displayed beyond its expiry date? Yes. Do I consider a poster to be POS? Yes. Do I think offers should be included on posters? Not ever, too easily missed ;)

  • It would, but it would also help Tesco identify the stores and the people involved. That's why people tend not to name the stores themselves.

It's not in Manchester, if that's any help to you...nowhere near, in fact. more like a 10 hour round trip for you. ;)

    Must be Cornwall then!!!!
