thankyou mcdonag.
thats xmas taken care of for them.;)
No thank you for the post, nearly brought me to tears!!!
The whole purpose of posting misprices is so that others can go out a try it themselves.
I am really pleased for you and your family and hope that your boy enjoys his new toy.
Word of warning though. Please fully explain to your son exactly what happened tonight. Explain about the policy and that it is Tesco that is breaking the law, not you. What you did was complain about being overcharged.
I'm saying this because my boy came home the other day and asked me if I had stolen anything else today!!! After explaining the policy and the history behind it, he now knows that I did nothing wrong. Scary moment though.
Well done though and I hope it has given you courage to go out and get some more.

What problem with your card? Required athorisation? C & P not working?
Considering the amount the OP has spent and had refunded on his card recently, I would say that authorisation was required (unusual activity). This could also explain why the CS person accused him of using someone else's card.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

im just worried because i have a reciept which says -320quid but doesnt mention what for...although that can be proven by cameras can it not? I can argue...why else would they have given me 320quid!
other main thing is that my card WAS charged but i hadn't collected the item yet...the CS woman insisted that she recitified it before the point of sale...
any advice would be great
Well, once you had paid for the item it was your property (even though you had not picked it up from CS yet). So the transaction had taken place and you were overcharged, so you should have had R&R. I take it they kept the item and made you take a refund, even though the item was yours and you didn't want a refund?
The bit about using another card in a different name is a terrible accusation which I would NOT let lie. She was accusing you of card fraud! I would contact HO on Monday, think through what you need to say first.
How did she get you to put in your pin number for the refund? I assume you were under duress, in which case posts on the previous discussion thread would be worth you trawling through (Kondormid or MUN'taken were they posts by you, maybe the OP can pm a copy to dr_shabzzz?).PRIVATE 'PCN'? I went into a store tonight on the way home .. just for a look around. Is it just me or does anyone else feel like a criminal walking around looking at shelfs etc?
Anyways ... didn't spend to long but spotted the Philips HiFi ..... big 'clear' price label holder right in front of it ... but no ticket!! Looked very like they'd been round n swiped the label out to save any R&R's. Didn't check or scan anything else... no sign of any posters with offers etc.
Maybe that store was on the ball ... dunno.
Gonna try a different one tomorrow. Do you just walk up to CS straight from the checkout and say ..."Excuse me i've been overcharged on some goods" ?
Sorry if it's a daft question .. just some general pointers would be good.... might make me feel less like i'm the bad guy

Certainly possible. Could also explain why the CS person "was trembling, her hands were shaking" as it flags the same for a card which is being fraudulently used.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

I always walk straight up to CS, most people check their receipts straight from the checkout.0 -

An empty clear label holder would suggest to me that someone got there before you for that R&R!
As for going to CS, previous advice is correct (see other posts on this thread). Say as little as possible except if they offer the difference, when you will need to cough and say 'errr, but what about your price promise policy on that blue poster up there?'PRIVATE 'PCN'? bit OTT though, I generally have to get my card authorised (especially as whenever I buy anything from Tesco, they seem to always give me my money back)0
