What do they do with name and address ? Is it just to worry us ?

might be worth asking to see this new policy either in hard copy or a website link and see what they say........cos surely if its a 'new' policy it will be from HO in hard copy in the store...:rolleyes:

i have just sent an e-mail to sir terry leahy. about my circumstance and have pointed out to him the fact that i feel i am being discriminated against on the r+r policy and also that it is an offence to have misleading price indications...
i will post back if i get a response

it's the 209 one, but it's scanning incorrectly for me
, the SEL was out of date yesterday however, so not sure where I stand..

What price is it sacnning at?

Or are you hoping the GOTW deal won't work with it (that depends if its not Tekken anymore) and they need the poster up.

I just got another wireless xbox!!

GOTW poster with The Godfather. Didn't even look at the date of the poster I'm afraid because the SEL for the game was white, so I took a guess that it wouldn't come off.

Prices were the same as always.

Full R&R with apologies and the manager just said to the CS lady, "Can you just give this gentleman a full refund for everything on his receipt", which included 2 pks of biscuits, 2 Apple turnovers and a bottle of coke!!! I did a deal with him about the gotw as I wanted Project Gotham Racing instead of The Godfather. He said no problem!!

Full R&R for £362.18, 360 points on another new card, 5p off petrol voucher, free lunch and a partridge in a pear tree.

The sun shines on the righteous apparently!!

Had a good couple of days,
R and R yesterday on 2 mp3 players and some trout!

Today managed to find Phillips cube stereo, R and R no problems.
Old poster up in another store for the consoles, thought I would try my first biggy! whilst being prepared to have 'forgotten my credit card' - no need ds console and (old) gotw - no discount. Took it to cs after they spoke to the manager they offered £10 refund!!! and were somewhat surprised when I said surely I was entitled to more, They then said I could have the game refunded, so I asked to speak to the manager saying it was a package deal. The cs lady returned having spoken to the Manager. Full refund £125.

It think it's something like 219, the label didn't say anything about game of the week, it's a yellow sticker saying the price is 209, but it says the offer is valid untill the 28th which was yesterday. I was hoping i could buy it for 219 then argue the SEL said it was 209 and get r&r? But was worried they'd argue that the SEL was out of date and therefore I wasn't entitled to it

surely you'd get it?

It's not your fault the out of date SEL is still up, it's their responsibility to make sure their promo literature is in date, not yours.

Can I just check this out as my brain hurts now from reading all these threads in the last week.


If i see a store where the current GOTW is white stickered and not yellow (indicating discount should be applied) and the posters are correct - showing this as the GOTW
then...

I buy a console with this ... discount should not be applied and then I should get a full R+R if I push it ?
