Just to be clear, are you seriously arguing that there are eight days in the week, or can you not add up?
If the week commences on Friday September 22nd, that is the first day of that week. There are then six more days in the week and a new week commences the following Friday, which in this case is September 29th.
I know you want to exploit every possible loophole, but this really is pretty basic stuff.

Found chicken, pork and steak wrongly priced, went to CS for R&R just over £30, could have had loads more but thought won't be greedy
Cut a long story short, kept waiting about 30 minutes, CS lady kept disappearing...... to see Managers, told me I'd bought wrong items (hadn't) ended up calling Security wanted my name and address, photocopied my receipt and clubcard .
Finally got R&R
Can they do this, and why?
Made me feel like a criminal, I'm scared to go back there again.0 -

just so I clarify this, there is a gigapack PSP in my Tescos, with an expired SEL and the item is scanning more than the shelf price. It seems that HO and managers are successfully defending R&R by arguing that the offer has expired and therefore I'm not entitled to a refund and keep the product?
It is worth me having ago? Though, from other people's stories, I don't want to be humilated infront of other shoppers only for my request to be rejected!

This is ever so slightly off topic but I had to let you know. Today Birmingham city centre came to a standstill because 'protesters' were blocking a main road through it and chanting 'We want ASDA!' The reason being is that they feel Tesco hold too much power in that part of the City and want an Asda store to win in a planning war. I though obviously they are either not MSEers or they do not know about RnR!DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

Are you saying that the £10 come off correctly or not on the DS? And did you get an R&R for it?
With regards to them refusing the XBox R&R, it looks like they have been banning multiple R&Rs in some stores, so if they do let you have it, you may well get banned.
I have tried to avoid using the same store / CS person espically for big item when a manager is usually called.0 -

I don't think the posters do have an expiry date on them, just a 'week commencing' date.
In my opinion, the key point should be that the poster is on display and customers are therefore entitled to believe that the prices displayed are what they will be charged. The original point I was making is that it is nonsensical to argue that the offer is still valid on the basis of faulty arithmetic.

Which gigapack is it? The £209 one just with the 1GB Card or the one that has two games with it (this was £219, but has something like £259 written on the box). Is the pack scanning incorrectly or it the game of the week discount (£10) not coming off?0
