YesButNoBut - sorry to take the bait (again) but you have posted some very inflammatory on the "Misprices" thread - please reign yourslef in a bit for all our sakes.

This is the sort of behaviour that gets R&R'rs a bad name.

It is just plan and simple greed.

Do you sell them at car boot sales or something ?

Why would someone want four Toasters ? really ! think about it.

Don't you think it is the sort of thing that will get the R&R policy withdrawn or seriously curtailed by tesco's.

Hi everyone just read this on MSE
could we get extra when writing to HO.

Inconvenience costs. Picture the scene: You’ve got home and are looking forward to putting on that sexy new dress with those gorgeous matching shoes you’ve just bought…only to discover the shop’s forgotten to remove the security tag from the dress or has given you two left feet!

Inconvenience like this isn’t acceptable; there’s the hassle of traipsing back to the shop, and you certainly won’t be best pleased if the clothes were for a special occasion that particular evening. As soon as you realise, call the shop immediately to complain, or even write a brief letter to its customer services head office. It’s not unreasonable to request travel expenses to get back to the store, or even compensation (usually gift vouchers) for your time.

I got overcharged on the annuals but the tills had closed for the night when I went to CS, I contacted HO and they told me to go back to the store (which was a good few miles away) to get my r+r and the store would offer me a 'gesture of goodwill' (which i got, in cash) for having to travel to get my refund.
They've got cars big as bars

you'll have to go and try like the rest of us!!

If anyone knows what the games of the week are from today please could you post them - thanks

Wow.....that was useful....so by your logic there shouldn't be one single post in this entire forum as we should all go and 'find out for ourselves'

Why say that and then ask what the game of the week is?

Why dont YOU go and find out for yourself....

Congratulations, you just made the most contradictory post of the century and succeeded in nothing more than making yourself look like an idiot.

OK, so how is that defending yourself? The majority of people would consider that post inflammatory and intimidatory yet you believe people should not direct a similar attitude towards yourself?

Sorry, theres no point me carrying on with this you're obviously pretty much of the brain dead variety who will only accept the sound of your own voice(s) (inside your head).

    Good day.

Why are you being rude and insulting ?

How would you describe somebody R&Ring 4 toasters, it is a bit like buying 3 shoes ?

Unless you own a B&B of course.

I can think of one very legitimate reason for buying multiple toasters.

I run a holiday cottage business. We keep stock of things like this as they are notoriously unreliable things (at this price range anyway) and when one goes, I don't want to have to faff about going into town on a Saturday when I have just a couple of hours to change and clean a cottage.

Greed may come into it for some people. For others, it's as much a case of teaching Mr T a lesson. OK, it may be a lesson that it fails to learn time and time again, but IMHO there is no sence in not abusing the policy when Mr T is quite happy to continue to overcharge its lloyal customers.

oh dear, you have allowed the troll to come back, please, just do not answer his posts. You know who I mean.

There is a certain person trying to get this thread closed.

The ONLY way he can do it is by causing arguments.

If you answer any of his posts, at all, then you are helping him.

Just shout at the screen, put your hands on your head, and look away.

He will go as soon as you stop playing with him.

    Sorry this is off topic
Bdaggers comment about 'inane' may not have been 'nice' but I certainly wouldn't class it as ABUSIVE nor AGGRESSIVE. The "waste of space" comment was completley accurate.
Then Monster Deals wades in with "keep your mouth shut" after passing comment on rude posts ?!

Just a practical point if you are new to posting...if you wish to reply to a particular post, which may not have been the last one, you can refer to the post number - in the top right of the post box, or you can hit the quote button.
BUT, then you can edit down to get rid of everything except the exact point/sentence/phrase you wish to 'reply' to. You do not have to inc the WHOLE original post.
You can also go back and add to or amend your own post by hitting the edit button,;)
Now I've gone and risen to the bait again.
