I'm glad this thread is slowing down a bit. It was getting really hard to keep up for a while there.

Why do people (looking at you - YesButNoBut) insist on quoting a lengthy post and then adding an inane comment on the end ? What a waste of space !

Oh, and double refunds ? I love `em - I call them "Golden R + Rs" - and have never had any problems with CS when returning the item(s) at the next Tesco down the road.

Tesco use any (and all) underhand tactic in the book to make themselves profitable - why shouldn`t I be allowed to do the same ?

Just had an emailed response saying that i will receive a cheque in 14 working days to cover the cost of this item. Did anyone else have this response?

Lots of people have been told a cheque will be on its way, your not alone on that one.
  • Yes thats right, 100 minus 18 is 82.

Wow, a tesco employee who can count.

Why do you feel the need to be rude to another poster ?

    Are you a Mod ?

  • Uncalled for. You ask him why he feels the need to be rude to another poster, but then you're extremely rude to him? Hello pot, I'm a kettle...

And Bdaggers does have a point, theres no need quoting two pages worth of text when they're replying to one line in it. It just clogs up the page, makes people have to read/scroll through lots of fluff to try and pick out the comment (which inevitably gets lost/missed)

I am sorry you didn't like my post, I wasn't aware that I was not aloud to post, or there were rules about how long a post could be, or how/who you could quote.

I don't believe my comment was inane ! what do you understand by the word inane ? if you disagree with my post that is your choice, but why do you feel you have the right to insult me ?

I think your post was abusive.

The last discussion thread grew faster than Jacks beansprout - and partly because of unnecessary and pointless quoting of massive posts. This was one of the reasons for it being closed I believe - the mods couldn`t keep up with pruning the chaff from the wheat.

Thank you for keeping yours short.
