Help Again!
I have been into the store this morning with my Xbox 360 and GOTW Godfather and CS were adamant that the discount was only off the game and would only refund me the game? Where do i go from here? Should i just take it back??
Thanks

I put one in my trolley and after paying for it went straight to CS who called the meat department manager and after she turned her back on me to wisper something down the phone the meat manager turns up a few minutes later. I then went off with him to show him the kg price on the SEL being lower than that on the pack but low and behold the SEL had gone and was replaced with an 'out of stock' label which was strange seeing as there was 100 chickens on the shelf. He had obviously removed the label that was there earlier so as to avoid an R&R. Is there anything that can be done about this.
This really is not on.
I would take it to the top. Ring the store manager and say you will be asking head office to get hold of the cctv footage if this isn't sorted. I doubt they will though.
Just goes to show that Tesco have employees who seem to be on a mission to get at the R&R customer. I don't think for one minute they are doing this out of any sense of loyalty to Tesco. Oh no, I imagine they are readers/users of this forum who have been p155ed off big time :rotfl:0 -

now am I the only one thinking that somone was very lucky? the normall price is 10% more than you paid so how did you get that?
I called in to a store and their method of stopping the phone r+r as to remove ALL mobiles from sale not a single dvd case on the shelves for phones.0 -
pfpf wrote:why are people going back to tesco's with "carboot full of anuals" for refunds on stuff that went through the tills "correctly"?
surely this is just as bad as people "messing with SEL's" who are in fact commiting fraud and therefor are criminals.
So you would keep somthing that you bought if it scanned correctly as per the SEL or the offer? maybe you buy an xbox thinking the discount wont kick in and for some reason it does, you have no right to claim r+r are you really going to keep it as you have paid for it? I dont think so. The annuals was a small time !!!! up compared to the consoles but some people went all out and bought them by the truck load as they make good christmas presents.shohaib wrote:Dont know much about laws etc . . . All your doing is getting free money at the double all the time, which i dont think is a very lawful thing to do. Think of it like this if you had a shop and people done that to you, how would you feel ?. Tesco is big big big company, but that dont mean if theyre profiting in big numbers, that you can skank them left right and center. I bet tescos lose millions due to people doing stuff like that and other (fraud on petrol pumps and self scan machines) nawty things. Keep to your limits as it always comes back to you. Ive never done anything bad at Tesco's so my conscious is clear lol
Would still love to get my hands on a console though lol :rotfl:
You need to be using the ethics of r+r thread if you have a problem with the policy in that way, but seeing as your prepared to grab a really expensive item then WFT are you going on about somthing about pots calling kettles I think. Nobody ususlly gets double the money, they save the cost of the item they bought they have the item and the money for the item still only 1 lot of money. Tesco loose the item.
The getting a refund with an unmarked recipt is a dodgy thing to do but if some CS assistants make mistakes then they can be exploited as the price integrety people are. I dont know what I would do if it had an unmarked recipt as most of my r+r's are for items I want.0 -
Lmfao Sorry mate must have been on one. early morning and no sleep and all dat. I kept thinking they were getting double money. pmsl. My apologises to rest of you.
. I was only intentionally argueing over double money, not R&R lol im for against R+R'ing but for it.
If people cant help people on these threads, then they should rather not say anything then say something which isnt any use to the person who needs help0 -

Until it comes to choosing football teams to support that is.:rotfl:
I must protest Ben - in this wonderful democracy that we live it is Spa2k's right to fellow a team of thieving scousers that employs the most lanky and ugliest striker in the known universe.

Hmmmm - this is well outside the boundaries of R&R - I think you would be guilty of fraud - although it would be very unlikely for you to be caught in the act.

Hi guys I am new to this website so please bear with me if this question seems a bit dumb..
I am really intrigued by this R+R policy with Tesco, but am a bit puzzled about what the best method to go about getting this is.
Should I be looking for items that have been reduced on the shelves (so like, they might have been reduced from £5 to £3.99 or something) and then they don't show the lower price on the checkout? How am I to know what will and won't work? I've read loads about how you guys pick up free toasters, DVDs.. the lot - but I am confused as to how you find the mispriced items.
Do you have to go on the self service checkouts? I'd really be interested in doing this, being a student and all, but like I said, I am confused!
Oh, and I have read loads of threads on this website but can't find an explanation, so hence this post!0
