Tesco misprice discussion area part 11

This morning with my weekly shopping i bought one of the Willow Farm chickens and noticed the kg price on the SEL lower than the kg price on the chicken. I put one in my trolley and after paying for it went straight to CS who called the meat department manager and after she turned her back on me to wisper something down the phone the meat manager turns up a few minutes later. I then went off with him to show him the kg price on the SEL being lower than that on the pack but low and behold the SEL had gone and was replaced with an 'out of stock' label which was strange seeing as there was 100 chickens on the shelf. He had obviously removed the label that was there earlier so as to avoid an R&R. Is there anything that can be done about this.0

Silly question I know but what do the other supermarkets do? just refund the difference so you pay the right price?
Ooro
I was going to ask this as well. Do the other supermarkets have r&r policy? I shop a lot in Sainsburys.
ThanksIt's best to regret things you have done rather than those you have not...0 -
Pulled from the misprice threadlimey wrote:Just got back from Tesco Kilbirnie, they still had the Motorola L6 with a white label for £53.99, after some pretty normal flannel i was offered the 10% difference. However as soon as i pointed out that i knew about the R&R policy, i was immediately authorised a full refund.
now am I the only one thinking that somone was very lucky? the normall price is 10% more than you paid so how did you get that?
I called in to a store and their method of stopping the phone r+r as to remove ALL mobiles from sale not a single dvd case on the shelves for phones.0 -

Seems to be working differently everywhere
here is my experience
bought 3 games
bockaroo, operation and twister, got no discount at all !!, spoke to man in charge (bear in mind its 11.25pm) we checked out the deal, buy 2 games get cheapest free, there were only yellow stickers on operation (£6.97) and twister (£6.47), so the SA advises me that I should have got twister for free- i'l refund you £6.47, I said "You need to buy both to get discount, therefore I should get refunded on both as per Tesco policy) He replies "yes you're right sir" r&r no problem
it would seem that Buckaroo is not part of the deal, but everyone has had different expeiences0 -

If the receipt has a transaction number, which they would enter into the till to process the refund, it *could* flag it up as already been refunded.
Not too sure if Tescos do, but seeing they've got billions of pounds to spend each year i'd expect their Loss Prevention department at head office would have something similar to this set up..
Let us know how you get on, or if you dont get a reply i'll assume you're in a cell!0
