If you had a poster there then you should be laughing, I said I didnt even look at the SEL just the poster.

As long as he picked up the advertised GOTW, it doesn't matter if the POS/SEL had expired. It's not our job to make sure that POS/SELs are in date, it's Tecos job You should still get an R&R.

You're preaching to the converted here mate!

All I meant was if the poster is there with the week commencing date on it means they cant use the out of date SEL as an arguement because the poster indicates the offer is still valid.

went to local tesco and took the latest game offer which was the god father, as per posters instructions and the xbox 360 full to the checkout!

the lady on the checkout said, these are subject to availability refering to the xbox 360, and asked if i wanted to pay for the game now and take the xbox 360 to the customer service desk to see if they have any in stock (yeah right), so i said no and took both to CS.

she checked her stock, and said they did not have any and did not have a delivery date (shock horror), she then asked if i wanted the game

but of course i didn't

i personally think they did have some in stock, and they just had a new protocol to follow!

either way, i will go and buy an xbox 360 today, shame i didn't get one free

Yep, everything to the letter... Poster was there, PSP GOTW with offer on Tekken. Also a yellow one which is non-game specific which does have an exp date on it. I can't understand it. Like I say I think I may have been 'flagged'.

I won't lie down on it though. Like taxiphil said, this is THEIR mistake. Just because it happens to me more than once, I shouldn't be discriminated against. Like the policy says:

I wrote to Sir Terry on Mon 18th Sep at the address in Cheshunt about a member of his staff and i got a bog-standard letter back this morning from Dundee Customer Services saying that they'll be in touch shortly regarding my complaint. anyone else had this happen? and how long do you reckon i should leave it before i send another one telling them i'd like a 'proper' response before i go down the Trading Standards route

I was also considering threatening them with a solicitors letter because of the harrassment i receive every time i go in that store ie) being followed round like a shoplifter, and the fact that i've been told i can't even have the difference refunded if i'm overcharged again :rolleyes:

Any advice please?

Chatting to a CS lad this morning (when getting refunded on 2 playstation games) and he informed me that the Company had lost over £750,000 over the PSP and XBox mistake.
