I'm new on here can someone please explain what r&r is?

And what the thread is about?

    Thanks

The first post will give you lots of information, but there's no substitute for reading the whole thread (and past threads too). The more you read, the more you will understand :D

I think the problem with HO only arises when your details "flag up" that you have had at least one other large R&R........making you a "serial R&R er", in their eyes...Although you seem to have got away with it quite well.....Ive heard of others getting banned for less, when they go in to get their refund.

I walked in to get my refund, thanked the kind lady behind the CS desk then walked around the corner and picked up two of those Phillips CD micro systems!

Was back at the CS desk in under 5 mins!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Full R&R given (£99.94)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

I wouldnt have done it if the CS woman I spoke to originally had been ok with me about the PSP but she did the usual CS nazi act and wouldnt budge and kept saying "that offer only applies to the game" over and over again! So I refused her offer and went outside and phoned HO who put me straight through to KK.

I was hoping the CS nazi would be on there when I went in for the refund but alas she wasnt, that always seems to happen!

  • Hey guys,

I got my first r+r last night :T
It was on the 2 for £8 annuals which i got charged £4.95 each for them.....

I bought these on Sunday night (bout 9.50 pm) but didn't realise that the stores close at 10pm so the lady on CS couldn't do me the refund cos the tills were shut :(

but she did tell me that i could go to my local store and get the refund there.

So off I toddled to my local store and they couldn't refund the items cos they didn't stock them

    So i rang CS................

and was told to go back to the original store and they would do a r+r for me and they should give me a 'gesture of goodwill' for my trouble.

and thats what I did....and got my 'gesture of goodwill' too :T

thank you for reading my story, hope to post more in the future ;)

I think most of us have been fobbed off with the difference in the past, which is probably why it feels so good now when we get an RnR.

Still get CS Assistants trying to give me the difference - happened just yesterday when I was honest enough to tell them at the same time that I hadn't been charged for something too! The difference now is that, having read so much on here, I have the confidence to stand my ground. It's funny seeing their reaction when you confront them ;)
