I know the only reason i tried a R&R on a xbox360 was because how badly the manager of the store had treated me the day before on a motorolla l7. He accused me of putting 100's of the 10% off leaflets in the box infront of the phones. He also refused a R&R told me a load of lies which i fell for and walked away with a £25 discount instead of a full R&R.

So next day i went in and took the xbox360 :d still waiiting for the cheque, come on ho i bought it nearly a month ago

I totally agree, I spoke to him yesterday regarding the PSP I bought yesterday morning, he had it sorted by 4pm for me.

Very nice man to speak to, he asked if I had had another console like this and I told him I had got an Xbox at the weekend, his reply was "so you've done pretty well out of this then" and thats all he said! no accusations or anything!

I think the problem with HO only arises when your details "flag up" that you have had at least one other large R&R........making you a "serial R&R er", in their eyes...Although you seem to have got away with it quite well.....Ive heard of others getting banned for less, when they go in to get their refund.

I know what you mean, finally got an R&R in a store yesterday with the CS Assistant who stitched me up last time . They are usually on the ball in there, so I just had to keep trying until I got my own back

Unfortunately this happens all too frequently :mad: . Always follow the CS Assistant and show them exactly where you saw the lower price - that way they can't wriggle out of it

If I have a trolley, I tend to unload it into the car first, then go back in with just the overcharged items - makes it much easier to follow them if the store is busy.

Well said, I always accompany the SA to the shelf, that way there can be no ambiguity about SEL's. They don't always like me coming along though. When I got some selection boxes the CS lady practically knocked over a couple of pensioners trying to get there ahead of me!
