Dispute should be an option in the drop down list on the "items I've won" list.Happy chappy0

NEG HIM!!!!!!!!!!!! His feedback tells you he tries this on whnever he doesn't get the money he wants....and his " nice guy" image changed when people suss him out.
Without any doubt ...neg him. If he responds in kind....you can get eBay to withdraw his feedback as unjustified. I've done this twice before in similar circumstances.
The guy's a cheap cheat who relies on people's better nature to avoid bad feedback!

If all else fails you can expose his dirty dealings with negative feedback to warn others of his underhanded trick.0

Do a dispute first though.Happy chappy0

This guy is an absolute idiot...There is no point in me trying to explain any further, you obviously feel that I am trying to get one over on you.
I can't say anything that would satisfy you other than giving you the item for next to nothing.
10 days is too long to wait
Is there a way I contact the any of the other auctions that have ended today?0 -
You can check who's won his other auctions by clicking on the winning bidder's ID and then "contact this member" if you want to tell them about your experience, but ebay will only let you contact members with whom you have no transaction a limited number of times per day or week or something (which is undertandable I suppose, to limit spamming).
Did the item already have bids on it when you first saw it? If it is a genuine mistake, the only thing I can think he might have done was put his intended reserve price in the Buy It Now price box. Since the BIN option would disappear as soon as someone bid, subsequent bidders would most likely know nothing about it.0 -
About 20 contacts per day, so no problem there.
You have won the auction for £10. It's his mistake. He should send it.There is no point in me trying to explain any further, you obviously feel that I am trying to get one over on you.

I think negative feedback is the way forwards.
Write one last message to him saying that you will leave negative feedback unless he is prepared to sell the item to you for the price you won it for in the auction.Happy chappy0 -

I wouldn't warn him that a negative is on the way.
Start an Item not received dispute when you can and then leave a neg when its all over and you have your money back.0 -

This is what I am going to do. After an exchange of more emails yesterday the guy said "he would rather snap the thing than sell it for £10.50" He has also refunded just over the amount paid - to cover paypal charges.
I have remained pleasant in my emails, just stating that I expect to receive the item for what i paid for it. I have also contacted other buyers that won the other auctions yesterday. Just waiting the 10 days so I can file a NPS, and then will neg him to warn others. Just hope others do the same, so that I can't continue trading on ebay!
Thanks guys for all your help! :beer:0 -
He has also refunded just over the amount paid - to cover paypal charges. He doesn't need to do that because paypal fees are automatically refunded.Happy chappy0
