    Same address in Seychelles and FAKE aftershave sent from Perfumes Ltd in Sofia

    Another scammer to add to the list!!!

    Update.
    NO REPLY from O Kostadinov - (shocker)
    ECC contacted me to state that the matter has been placed in the hands of the Bulgarian trading standards people, and asked for IBAN details to allow a deposit to be made to my account. I'm advised that this info. is secure, only permitting a deposit to be made to the relevant account.
    CC provider has sent me my most recent CC bill, which shows the relevant payment as being "Disputed".
    Details will follow as and when.

    PLEASE
    All current fraud sufferers of Perfumes.bg follow the info. on this post and START YOUR RECOVERY PROCESS NOW.

    I know there are people here who are trying to be extra fair, and all credit to them for that, however there are also people who are true and genuinely trying to give a warning.

    I am a newbie, just having a look as I am currently in dispute with scentmall. Like others I fell for the scam, cheap designer perfume. When they invoiced, from Bulgria, my stomach sank. When the dodgy looking jiffy bag arrived it sank further, when I saw the bashed up dodgy box of a perfume I hadnt ordered, my stomach hit the floor. I'd been well and truly had.

    I won't bore you with the details of my correspondance, although if doubters wish to see it I am happy to forward. Also to Manchester doubters, you are welcome to come to my house and check I am not a competitor, I am just a very stupid, duped, consumer.

    I also have photo's of said FAKES, and a brilliant contact at the European Consumer people, whom as soon as I said dodgy perfume said "Oh, they don't happen to be called scentmall do they?, very well known to me and my Bulgarian counterparts, but they are re-locating to the Seychelles soon to be out of our jurisdiction"

    I guess people can take whatever they wish from these pages, and they can trust whichever posters they wish, but this is a very heartfelt message from an out of pocket newbie, please do not risk your hard-earned money. These people are criminals and they will send you fake goods and then deny all come-back. CAVEAT EMPTOR

    Any one need any evidence, happy to oblige in the hope that no one else gets stung like I was.:(

    I've had a notice from the UKECC (on the 20th April) to the effect that a refund is on its way, asking me to wait 14 days further before querying it with them.
    Nothing arrived so far.

    Scentmall have NOT advised me of that fact in any way, and have not updated my original order form since the 28th March.
  • I have just had a problem with this company. Unfortunately, I didn't check them out on the internet until AFTER the problem. The payment went through a company called CCBill who SAY they are going to refund me. We'll see! I'll come back and post any further developments.
    I ordered a perfume and the one I received wasn't the one I ordered but same 'brand' but I'm sure it's fake. The packaging doesn't look right. The parcel was sent from Malta. The payment went through Seychelles and they want me to return the item to Bulgaria.
    But I'm keeping it to show Consumer Direct people!!
    Please don't use the company.

  • I just want to say thank you to SandyHaynes for this post. I also got taken in by Scentmall and ordered 100 ml of Dune for my wife. Did not arrive and got no response from Scentmall other than the standard mails they seem to issue to everybody. Checked on the internet for info on Scentmall ( should have done this before I ordered) and found numerous sites warning people not to purchase from them. I wrote to my credit card provider and to the UKECC. Only after seeing Sandys note did I check my credit card statement online and seen that I had paid via CCBill. I emailed CCBill last Thursday who responded within 24 hours to say they would be refunding me. Today (4 working days later) I have checked my credit card transactions online and see that CCBill have indeed refunded me. Thank you again Sandy.

    Just spoken to my credit card co. who confirmed they would refund my money. Asked them what they could do to get these criminals closed down and they said they could have their MasterCard status revoked if there were enough complaints, but so far there had been very few (!)

    So if you have been a victim, please do complain to your Credit Card Co. Fraud Dept, and lets get them shut down !

    My fiance ordered a now discontinued perfume on their website, and unfortunately, did not check out google before hand to find out how much of a scam they are!
    The item arrived 4 days before Christmas, and when he opened it up found it to be Coco Chanel and not the perfume he had ordered! He immediately emailed their customer support team who emailed back and advised that they had enclosed a voucher code to be used online but he would have to either return the item for a refund or keep it. He decided to keep it not known it was a fake at the time, and reordered what he wanted to buy! Lo and behold the wrong item turned up in January! ANd again he was advised to return the item to Bulgaria! I've now been online and found out others and been duped, and have now emailed them a strongly worded email! Half of which was ignored and a response from David Miles in the Seychelles!
