Just spoke to someone at virgin (not in sales office tho so cant actually process my order)

She said the sales dept had a constant 100 calls waiting at the moment due to this offer. She took my details again to ask them to call me back, but said to allow 72 hours for them to do so.

My phone failed to arrive today! I phoned Virgin CS and I was informed that it should be here on Sat.
I was told, when I ordered, that my phone was worth £200 and had a radio. I then went on line and found the Lobster 700 but I have been told I will get the Lobster 575 (worth £60 and without radio)!
    Not too impressed so far.

My question is, do I have to pay another month to T Mobile or will my contract end when the number is ported over to the Virgin phone ? Will T Mobile just charge me pro rata for the time that I had the number with them ?

    Thanks :)

When I left T-Mobile I was only charged up until the number ported over to Virgin. When they calculated my final bill they gave me back almost a full months line rental, I queried the amount but they told me to just accept it.

My phone has just arrived. Wow, this must be the tackiest piece of c&*p on the market. Virgin must have bought them from Poundland and rebadged them! I have no complaints about the package, ie 300 mins and text for £10 monthly but the phone!!!
I am no snob and at 60 I don't need to impress anyone but I will have to use this with a paper bag over my head.

    Poor show, Virgin.

Ever since I have had the number it has said "sorry all lines are busy, please try again later" it doesn't seem to matter when i call. It is not even giving me the option of waiting.

I finally got it switched over yesterday.

I took a couple of hours for it to be switched from PAYG to pay monthly, but all up and running now.

Also, ordered the £2.99 lobster.I dont have high expectations but for £3, I am not complaining ;)

I think the 300 mins and texts are worth £10 alone!

I dialled 150 from my NTL landline and asked to be put through to the virgin offer, but they just took my details and said they would contact me within 48hours
