I hope you mean 0800......80 mins on 0870!!!!!!
Unfortunately not a typo...lol!! However with 18185 at the w/end it could have been worse - 1p/min +4p connection....so about £1.70 (had to dial twice......!)0 -
Got through this morning and were told to expect delivery tomorrow :T
In case anyone needed to know, we ordered on through my Mum's NTL account (cause our house is up for sale at the moment) and put the DD on DH's account - Virgin were fine with this.
Must check ebay, to see how much the lobsters are going for...Peek-a-boo0 -
Hi guys, I’ve just come off the phone with virgin and they will give 2 phones per household. I know you can get better cash back deals but for £10 per month 300mins & 300 texts is still a good deal especially as it’s guaranteed because we all know the pitfalls of cash back offers. Adding to that, there is no tie in period so basically after 1 month you can cancel at any time. If you’re also prepared to haggle for your overall NTL package there are some good deals to be had. At the moment I’ve got the following
2Meg Broadband
Phone line rental with free weekend calls
Basic digital TV package
2 x Mobile phones with 2 x 300 mins cross network calls & 2 x 300 texts (total 600mins and 600 texts)
The cost to me is £410 -
rubens......have u got the telephone number u rang for the ntl offer please?
thanx0 -
Here's the link to the ebay search results for 'lobster 575' ebay search results0

The number for the mobile phone deal is 0800 408 9342 quote lobster offer (this is with Virgin). It might take a while to get through ( I phoned at 08.30 and was'nt to bad)
For the other TV/Broadband/home phone deal you have to phone ntl (retensions) and tell them you want to leave, sorry but i have'nt got that number anymore however just ring the standard tel no. on your bill and they'll put you through. If you want more info let me know and i'll run through the process0 -
I understand that this is a month to month contract but can you actually cancel after the 1st month and keep the phone or will they ask for the phone back ?0
-
Not really sure, worth asking when you give them a ring
Good luck0 -
This deal could turn out to be the best option around for those who wish to port a number from one network to the same network (not Virgin obviously) to get the best new deal having been refused a good upgrade. Use Virgin as the mule....and then the window licker said to me...0
