  • after waiting on hold for over 15 minutes ( me paying for ihe call this time on a 0870 number ) they are sending out a new mobile to me tomorrow - so thats another day wasted waiting for a mobile to arrive. Must say the offer is great but I have had non stop problems so I have just e mailed Virgin with a complaint. It has taken 2 attempts to set up my account and direct debit - both times they took my bank details but their first attempt failed ?, it has taken 3 attempts to port my number over from T Mobile ( which still has not happened ) and I will be on my second mobile phone tomorrow :o The staff are lovely when you speak to them but something somewhere is going wrong.

not impressed so far Virgin

I believe you can port it anytime, it takes up to 7 days to port over. Best to e-mail them to check theteam[at]virginmobile.com

Just ordered 2 phones via the 0800 lobster offer number. When I rang up got the message that they were very busy & it could take over 1 hour, they actually answered within 2 minutes. Everything seemed pretty painless with a very pleasant guy on the end of the phone. Phones being delivered tomorrow (Saturday) even though I only ordered them at 5.30pm this evening.
I realise the lobster is a cr*p phone but I thought I might as well have it for the p&p charge of £2.99 each.
Do Virgin still use the T-Mobile network & if so will I be able to use my Virgin SIM in my Sony Ericcson T700i T-Mobile contract phone?

Sorry, it's just an anti-spam way of posting e-mail addresses. If you post an e-mail address with the @ on a message board, it is likely to get spammed.

So yeah, just replace the [at] with @ :)

secondly, are you allowed to have the phone unlocked? or does it say anywhere in the T&C's that you cant?
