Ive been trying to set up my online account, with no luck, so i emailed the virgin team and they've just replied back saying that the phone is registered to someone else.
How an earth is that possible? does that mean i will be receiving their bill and vice versa ?0 -

Yes.You could do so even before T-Mob started allowing it again.;)0 -
Hi there - to everyone who has helped me this past week. I have now taken delivery of my Virgin sim card - popped into hubbies reduntant Nokia something or other ....and it works a treat! I was worried about the signal in my area - because Orange has really become dreadful - and I must admit this is better!! Fantastic! I am so grateful for all your help. I just was not brave enough to take a cash back offer - this time - and for me this is more than enough time - 300 mins and 300 txt. And - Virgin customer service are so much nicer, friendlier and helpful than Orange. I know it is not a cheap cheapo deal - but I would not hesitate to rec it. Even if your signal strength (when you check it using links from this site) does not look good - mine as I said is actually better than Orange. So - gosh - what will I do know .... no more addictive looking on this site (as if!! Much better than doing the ironing!!)
So thank you very much again to you all!

Virgin have always allowed you to call 07744 numbers out of your x-net contract inclusive minutes, since they started contracts on the 1/5/2005.
Where as T-Mob did and then they started charging to call them. They recently had a change of heart and started allowing you to call them again out of contract inclusive x-net minutes.0 -
Well this IS a great deal, BUT I'm getting a tad fed up of the problems now.
Took ages to get thru
They made a mistake setting up my DD
The charger was broken when it arrived
The reception is terrible
And now, finally, they told me there would be no disruption to service when porting my number over. However, I have been without service now since first thing yesterday morning. Both my old and new numbers are dead now, as they had a porting problem yesterday and are doing them all manually. They say this could take up to another 24 hours!!!!
I'm getting fed up, and it's costing me money ringing mobiles from my home phone.*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
If I don't reply to you, I haven't looked back at the thread.....PM me0 -

What a !!!! up! I'm having the same problems. I ported my number over and have been with service since 10pm on Sunday and I have been advised it might take another 24 hours to sort. Oh, and the reception is shocking, really dreadful.0 -

Hi - long time lurker, first time poster :-)
I've got this NTL/Virgin deal and am very happy with it. One quick question though. Does anyone know if/how I can dial 08xx numbers and have them come out of my inclusive minutes? I'm hoping if we can use 07744 etc. numbers to make international calls, this will be possible. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks,
W.0
