Regards
Tom
The offer ends the end of December, this doesn't mean the contract price of anyone who are already on the contract goes up. Anyone taking new contracts out after this date might have to pay more - I'm guessing £15 a month.0 -

If you go to view your bill, you might find out that you have £5 credit on your account that you can use up. I'm guessing you might have spent 40p - maybe on WAP?
I have £5.00 on mines and I haven't used it on anything. In my bill it says I got £5 in credit.
am i right in saying that you get charged a 10p flat rate for calling 789 if you want to check your balance or call customer service? as i think this is where the 40p has been used0 -

You are not charged 10p to call 789 and listen to various announcements. You only get charged 10p for the call if you elect to speak personally to Customer Services.
When i asked if it was a part months rental,i was suggesting it might be line rental for part of a month,or did you start service bang on the Ist of a month.0 -

i have called 789 to speak to customer services, meaning i have been charged?
i started my contract on the 19th of the month0 -
I just called for this offer on 08001830123
Told them I was ringing about the Virgin £10.00 a month 300 mins 300texts plus Lobster 575 phone offer.
within about 3 minutes they put me through had to do a credit check and give payment card details.
Phone should be here tomorrow, then will port over from current contract
Very happy
BTW am currently receiving Phone BB and TV from NTL0 -
Ordered three sim cards on the on-line form but couldn't get through on the phone to get a free mobile so e-mailed then via my new account. Phoned back within 24 hours and 2 new phones coming tomorrow (£2.99 each for delivery) Very pleased and impressed so far!!0

Re the first part of your question.....if the phone and account is in your name you can access her account on line and check how much of the 300mins/300texts are left at any time. I too have one of these for my (text mad) daughter.....I am having to train her to use the phone rather than text - it's nice to get a call from her once in a while (rather than an indecipherable text message!)
Also...part of the "deal" with her is that she pays for anything over £10/month0
