I cannot find reference to the free mobile phone on the £10 monthly contract anywhere. I have read all the posts about the free phone but when I signed up today there was no mention of it.
The free mobile on the PAYG offer seems to be open only to new NTL customers, so have I missed out on the free mobile phone with the monthly contract????Irony.

[There's also no obvious sign as to how many mobile contracts each household can take at this price from NTL:/Virgin - would they allow more than one? Watch this space.[/QUOTE]
I have signed up to this offer from ntl/Virgin (already ntl/virgin customer and was hoping for some good deals now they have merged).
The 300 + 300 £10 / month offer is limited to 2 per household.
Suits us, as me and DH now signed up. I was putting about £10 a month in anyway on PAYG so well chuffed to be spending the same amount but using the phone a whole lot more. I got the free Lobster 575 in HOT PINK! (Actually, that's what sealed the deal for me! Great!!)keep smiling,

I would like the new motorola k1 but would be happy to stick with my v3 on the ntl tariff if it is 300 anytime xnet mins and texts!
I am, and its great, you can phone the automated number and it tells you how many texts and how many minutes you have left, so no danger of over spending on the deal.keep smiling,

So finally it does seem that they don't have any lobster anymore. Isntead i will get a nokia 1112. Very basic but who cares! I'm just waiting for my PAc code to transfer my old number across.0 -
Ditto previous post, just ordered and told the phone will be a Nokia 1112.0

Oh #*!%.
I was just going to do this to get a pink phone for my daughters birthday.
Nokia 1112 is probably not even worth the cost of the phone call.0 -
Yeh, when I signed up for the offer a couple of weeks ago, the lady I spoke to said they had run out of black Lobsters and only had a few pink ones left, so I was lucky to get one. My DH signed up for the offer and is gonna get a Nokia, which I will probably give to one of the children for Christmas, as DH is getting a nice new phone from me anyway for his present.

i just signed up for this, just got my phone order in before 8pm which is the cutoff for next day delivery. anyway, i got a pink lobster (i wanted a black one!). he said they had run out of them but they found a few more pink ones. he didn't mention a nokia and he told me that when the lobsters run out that's it, it's a sim only offer.52% tight0

I rang the freephone number this morning and got the recorded announcement as mentioned in a previous post. I rang again a few minutes later and got through. Spent 10 minutes on hold then connected to an extremely nice and helpful operator.
She didn't mention the lack of Lobsters - in fact she kept referring to the phones as Lobsters - so I ordered a couple.
Here's hoping.0 -
did she tell you the colour?52% tight0
