i like my current phone so the lobster was for my dad whose phone is broken. i don't think he'll be keen on the pink either

maybe i can sell it on ebay and give him the cash towards a cheap new phone, he barely uses £1 a month so contracts aren't for him.

they asked me for an ntl account number, i am on the 3 for £30 deal but i suppose if you only had one ntl product you could try giving them that account number.

this looks like a great offer. i'm an NTL broadband customer. i'm currently on the O2 £10 a month=300 texts offer, but boyf's contract is costing him a lot phoning me every night, so i've been looking for a contract with minutes included...

i have a couple of questions which i can't seem to find the answers to clearly above!

1. can i get a free phone with this offer if i phone rather than buy the offer online? or is that just for people with 3 NTL services?

2. do i have to port my number immediately or can i do it anytime?

1) Yes you can phone up and take out the offer. I quoted something like the £10 per month NTL / Virgin Offer with Lobster Phone.

2) I think you can port your number at some time in the future, but you must keep the old contract to which your old number is assigned going. If you cancel the contract prior to porting, the number will be lost.

I've ported my o2 pay-as-you-go number to virgin. It went through in 7 days. A confirmation letter was sent through the post to remind the expected porting date.

my pink lobster arrived today, aren't they tiny?! it's like a toy, and pink! it's just not a nokia though, i'll stick with what i have and donate this pink thing to my sister.
