In my experience yes. Its very easy to promise something if you know you never have to follow through.
In the situation you have just described, i'd be happy to help, but then most of my family actually like each other."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." I'm curious about this, because I'd consider a 16year old to be sensible enough to be left. (I'm disregarding wild parties here because they'd still be doing that at 21 if so inclined)
As far as leaving a 14 year old in charge of younger siblings overnight, I'm just reaching the point that I'd consider leaving mine on their own for a couple of hours in the evening, but within walking distance and with my phone.0 -
Why would Social Services be interested in a 16 year old being left over night, when a 16 year can leave home, join the army or even get married?"On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." I don't think anyone has suggested that social services would be interested, just pointed out that there are guidelines for parents if they wish to follow them.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -
Sorry I meant under 16s, bit overtired yesterday! The 16+ for overnights is an NPSCC recommendation.Saving for a deposit. £5440 of £11000 saved so far:j0
