Hiya, i found these today in my local heatons http://www.heatonsstores.com/NI/Product/Small-Glass-Storage-Jar/267217/1004030300 i love them and they r rite size 4 me but they do come bigger http://www.heatonsstores.com/NI/Product/Large-Glass-Storage-Jar/267216/1004030300 i got 3 smaller ones 2day, order my scoopes from e**y and i'll get 2 larger ones when i get some money next:)

Never even thought of trying heatons, what a good idea Wonder if they're instore too...will have to have a rummage

i didnt either, i was lookin for a potates (sp) masher and came across them on bottom shelf! but i did forget 2 get the masher! so have go back tomorr doh!! lol

How is everyoe doing with this? I've got 2 large kilner jars from Asda @ £1 each, 4 smaller ones from Ikea @ 91p each and 2 nice glass dishes from eBay @ 99p each! Bargains! Waiting to collect some scoops but really struggling to find tongs!

We got most bits from Ikea, really good there. Just bid on some tongs on eBay, thanks for the link Miss Pixie.

I bought some of my jars from IKEA, in particular some lovely cylindrical ones in a set of three. I also bought the little spice jars for people to fill (I added a name label to each one, so they doubled as place settings!). My theme was purple too, but I found some lovely irridescent film to line all the jars, which looked gorgeous with the pastel colours of all the sweets - not that I saw them as my guests had totally demolished the sweets by the time we had finished having our photos taken - hehe!

I found some photos of sweets in IKEA too, you know those postcards that they do? I put my favourite in a frame and wrote a little saying on it - looked quite cute!
