  • Ladies I need your creative help!!! Am doing a candy buffet for my bro in law and his fiancee as a weddiing present. The wedding is the 28th of Aug!! Anyway everything sorted, got the jars, sourced cheap sweets, ordered pink & white striped badgs from ebay and also clear plastic scoops.
Anyway saw this on someones photos of a marshmallow tree and thought that would set it off perfectly, if I buy them they are £20 each. Way too expensive. They dont look very complicated to do just want some ideas on how to do them. THANKS
Am hoping this allows me to post a photo of what I mean.

  • Sorry me again think I have figure out how to do them but will need a polystyrene ball. Any ideas on where to get them? Am going to use something like strawberry laces to attach as safer than toothpicks. Think I have seen the similar to the tree base in wilkinsons.

Looks great! Polystyrene balls - seen some here: http://www.greatart.co.uk/WHITEPOLYSTYRENEBALLS-polystyrene-balls.htm

Could also try a craft shop such as hobbycraft.

Sure you can do something similar for a fraction of that price - let us know how it goes!

Hi u will want an oasis ball, hobby craft or ebay, some wooden dowel and some plaster of paris and a good sturdy pot.i think u will struggle to secure with laces, cover the ball with cellophane as the oasis will come off on the sweets, stick a toothpick into each sweet and into the ball.HTH
