  • Oh and I found that wholesalers tended to be very expensive. For items such as mint imperials, sherberts etc, I went for supermarket own brand which tasted just as good and were often on 3 for 2. Julian Graves seemed to be good value for things like white chocolate jazzies and flying saucers.

Fair enough! I didn't need too many I guess. Although perhaps I could have done with some more, seeing as my husband and I only managed to wangle one flying saucer each - our guests were total gannets!
  • Rather than getting sweetie scoops I have got tea bag squeezers- they will be the perfect size for most of my jars and worked out a lot cheaper- 99p each from the range.

For my jars I have got them mostly from ikea plus I also have some nice wine glasses to go either side of the jars and I have got some small glass bowls (tesco), I only need to get sweets now but I am very happy with how little I have spent.
  • I just thought I'd let people know I got some fab clear jar with lids in the charity shop I think they were coffee ones orginally for 50p each in case anyone is looking for jars for their sweets.
