Has anybody tried reclaimng bank charges on Abbey Business account! I have gone through the process and got the usual blurb of them wanting to close the bank account down if we progress. Not sure wether to continue and issue a court summons. Just looking for advice?0
-
Does anyone know if this method of claiming back charges also apply to business bank accounts?
I hope for a quick response.

yes it does.. the only difference is the wording on your Particulars of Claim should you have to file at court. The case studies are different.
Start the process today.

Thanks Mad Hatter, do I send the standard letter template and that's it?
Therefore if we don't get as far as going to court, the templates Martin gives us should cover what I need to do.

I've just tried to claim £1,300 (£1442 including interest) and within 6 days they have come back to me with an offer of £975. - Should I take it, what do you think?
Also, as this was so easy and I also have an account with the same bank for my business, should I try and get these charges back as well? Can you get business charges reclaimed?0 -
I would reject the offer and wait for the full amount. And yes you can claim business charges back, same principal...

I have just received a response back from Abbey Business stating their charges are fair under their regulations which have been set out in the tariff of charges. Please help, where do I go from here?0

Are you referring to charges imposed for going overdrawn/exceeding overdraft limits or to standard transaction charges?Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0
