Does the same theory apply to business accounts as personal accounts?0

Is it possible to reclaim unnecessary bank charges on my old business account.
I know with business accounts you have to pay the overdraft fee and interest, but can charges for exceeding the overdraft limit, bounced direct debits and bounced cheques be reclaimed just like with the personal accounts?
Thanks for your advice Jackie0 -

Is there anyone who has managed to recover charges on a business account? I have 2 with HSBC. One is Ltd and the other is a sole traders account, both closed. I have wrote to HSBC asking for £708 back and recieved a letter within a week saying business accounts are not governed by the same laws. Any help would be great. Thanks:eek:0

Hi, Was just wondering if anybody had attempted to reclaim bank charges for a business account.
I assume that there is no reason why the same principles cannot be applied to a business account.
If this is the case then I look forward to taking on the Co-op Bank, as I have read with interest the comments made about them.0 -
I would like to know the same, I have two loans with Lloyds TSB, reclaiming the charges on my business bank account, which is now dormant would repay the loans.
Anyone any advice ?0 -
