I received my paperwork today from tc office. Have to say that im still confused.
Before my child left school i was getting " x amount"
My child left school and for one week my payment was £120 short
The next week (which was last week) my payment was £17 less than my ORIGINAL (x amount) sum.
Today when i get my award notice is states that my payments are going to be £23 LESS than my original (x) amount.
Im confused ....... as my daughter has returned to education i imagined my payments should have remained the same?
How can i be £120+£667 (29 weeks remaining in tax year multiplied by the £23 i am now down each week ) short in my yearly award when it only took one week to recalculate my award ?
It just doesnt make sense to me !0 -
Hi Joanne D!
Spent all day hitting the redial button to speak to someone - waste of my day off....I did inform them of this change in her education back in July - spoke to a 'really nice woman'....I thought!!! Also I was one of the random selected to be 'investigated'...so I have been thru the mill here providing everything but my dirty laundry(actually, did get washing done on day off!!)
Again to get 2 letters in one day contradicting each other is madness....need a valium....
Let me know if you get paperwork sorted and perhaps I'll be inspired....0 -
Its just a pain!
All i know is that for the rest of this tax year im £23 short per week !
Cant see how though because my circumstances have not changed ?
It only took a week for my new award to be sorted out but still no one seems to be able to tell me why my payments have dropped.0
