You can also ask them to look at the posts as my role is not to deal with abuse, it is not my responsibilty to decide what other posters would find abusive or not, I just removed the more argumentative posts and referred them to abuse.
I would like to point out to you to read the forum rules http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/forum-faqs
Also I have never had experienced on most benefit problems that I have advised on.
Thanks alwaysonthego but i am quite up-to-date on the site rules....
I notice that viktory's catty remark about me moaning about tax credit payments has also been removed so thats me satisfied now.
Just couldnt quite figure out why her nasty remark was allowed to remain when my posts were removed.
I also notice that viktory has only just returned to the board after a period of suspension , i would have thought she would be on her "best behaviour" for a while !0 -

As i said before (but the post was removed for some strange reason) , if we post up whenever we notice our payments return to normal then that will give everyone else the nod that they too can expect theirs to be sorted very soon as well. It will give other readers of the thread an idea on how long the changes took to rectify.0 -
will do !
Also just rang Child Benefit Office to check I had notified them, was releived to have been told that yes I had notified them, and my payments had been automatically extended - if only Tax Credits were as straight forward ! (o;0 -
Hi again,i just thought i would call them back to ask if there had been any progress which was a bit optimistic as it has only been two days,no progress yet but i did speak to the most lovely and helpful man who told me that it should take 5 working days.
He said that if i have heard nothing by Tuesday to call them back so hopefully that is what we are all looking at,around 5 working days.0 -
Well Im glad Im not the only one - although theyve made an even bigger mess of mine as they asked what date mine starts college so I told them 13th Sept. So instead of just doing a continuation from 1st Sept, they would have delayed looking at my claim until 13th as according to Tax Credits this is when my change of circumstanes takes place!
Just had £250 worth of Direct Debits bounced in my account as my Tax Credit payment didnt go in today!!!!!!!!! No notification from Tax Credits that I wouldnt get a payment today!!! P&&££d off isnt strong enough0 -
You see this is ehat has got to me as well...most if not all of us are experiencing this for the first time (a child leaving school) and so when we called - some of us many weeks ago - and were told by the tc staff that the change had been listed , we automatically assumed that the change wouldnt STOP or disrupt our payments , we assumed that because we had notified the change well in advance that our payments would just carry on as normal.
I undersatnd the sitaution better now - because i have been IN the situation - but maybe the tc staff should have TOLD us that payments would be affected when we made the original call ?0 -

Yes they could have given us some kind of idea of what to expect, either when we made the first call or a letter out in advance.0 -
Well you can add my name to the list of people who has had their CTC messed up this month. My son is 16 and when i rang they told me the same as everyone else, it will be sorted after 1st Sept.0
