Problems setting up Netgear DG834G wirelessly....HELP!!

    Print it all out before you go off line. It's all in the right order and should be obvious once you connect to 192.168.0.1
    Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc

    You're a star....that sems to have worked....but...
    now it's unsecured and I also can't connect to AOL...says DNS server unavailable or unreachable!!! How do I make the network secure again?? Thanks for your help so far

    Fix this problem before making it secure. Are you using AOL browser or Internet Explorer when you get that message? Try with IE.

    Using AOL when I get the unreachable message. Now that I've got my wire;less connection and can use IE, how do i make the connection secure again. Will doing this mean I have the connection problems again???

    No it will be fine, I'll take you through it. To be clear, are you now properly connected to AOL?

    So you can surf the internet with IE?
    To make the wireless secure see post 12 in this thread.

    hi...sorry for the delay...now back on a wired connection as the wireless isn't working again.....is this normal???

    No it's a bit strange. Go into control panel / internet options / connections and make sure never dial a connection is checked.

    Otherwise, it's possible you're getting radio interference. Did you try some alternative channels?
