Amazing how many people think it's perfectly ok for a child to damage someone else's property.......

Its not ok but it was just a small child being a child....she potentially put a scratch on a sh1tty punto.

OP, find out (as per my above post, if you already havent) if your daughter actually made the marks. Then offer to pay after seeing at least 3 quotes, if its stupid money just keep stalling to pay.

It's not ok.. but it's called an accident.

If a 4 year old crashed into my car with their bike, I'd ask them to pay for the repairs but obviously just get them done as cheap as possible. If they wanted to do the repairs themselves and could do so then I'd have no problem with that.

Exactly. Thats what I find unbelievable.
  • That's a typo, one as compared to your many.

I used to be a paralegal and have a HND in legal services with accredited training and I am a member of the Professional organisation in good standing (I worked in litigation), so I really don't know where you get my qualification is not in law? I imagine you made it up like a lot of the other balls you have been posting. Don't make up a lie about me again please.

I now work in support services management including providing onsite services to the Scottish Court Service on a daily basis, so I do have a fair working knowledge of how the legal system works from that side.

Im exceedingly happy for you. With all due respect, your bacground hardly makes you a QC does it?

Never said it did, it does make me qualified to comment generaly on litigation issues though, and Advocates and QCs do hire people like I used to be to do the donkey work, you don't imagine they have time to trawl through case law and paperwork for every little case. What are your qualifications then?
