Went for the E5, not too bad a phone, but it suffers from the same problem that most Nokia's do - unresponsiveness! Although not as bad as the 5800 I previously had - yet....:p

Mid October, that doesn’t sound fun after my notification txt i was expecting to have it almost instantly giving me a several weeks to show off to colleagues that I have the latest handset. For Free!!!!!

now im starting to wish I had worked today rather than taking it as holiday, ive been so busy thinking about the phone that I haven’t hardly got any DIY done, (though I am glad I found this site even if i have been checking it far tooooo much. ) im going to paint the spare room, I need to achieve something today.

Well my friend works in the local orange store and apparently they are having them on the 1st Oct so we aint got much longer to wait!!

As for the colour, they will most probaly send a bright one, so it stands out more. I quite like the orange & green one.

I hate waiting and clock watching etc so im hoping tomorrow as well! as soon as it does arrive you will all be the first i will tell.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive to, Had my 9 p.m. text the over day, Had to get my 5800 replaced the over day because of broken screen but was unable to download 360 meter for it. When i rang the helpline I was told I could not download it as I was in the N8 programme now

it seems like many people on this prgram are 5800 users.
I am also a 5800 user but when I looked at my user profile on the Nielsen website I was still able to download the 360 program. not sure why you couldn't download it dbrent1

I wonder if they are targeting 5800 users?!?!?!?!

I have been invited to this trial and have received the emails and text message mentioned on here - I am a N97 user - so who knows why we were the chosen ones??

I'm putting it down to pure luck and first come first served. A lot of people would have thought it a scam and others just don't check their e-mails that often. Would be interesting to see if anyone got an e-mail saying "Unfortunately you have not been chosen for the N8 program".

I must admit that I was sceptical at first but having spoken with them on the phone I am a bit more convinced it is real. I am wondering why they tell are telling us that they are being shipped and have been shipped and then nothing is heard for a few weeks :think:
