Im worried. Ive never recieved any of the emails you all mention and as such i assumed i had been unsuccessful in signing up for the N8 programme. Though last night at 9 I did recieve the text message that you all mention from the same number which got me very excited. So hopefully I can be expecting an N8 soon as well!! (if i do i hope its orange)

Do you think i will get it or should i call to double check they didnt text me in error??

I'd not call them myself. I doubt it was sent in error but if it was it is probably way to late to join the program. i'd sit tight and wait for my phone if I was you. Keep checking this forum. I'm sure people will post when they receive them. If you haven't received it after two weeks of everyone else posting, sorry mate, but I doubt you'll get one. Good Luck!

I would guess that it would depend upon your usage of the phone itself. If you fully exploit all the features such as the bluetooth, wifi, the 3G service (internet), the camera, the GPS, softare updates, visiting the ovi store, using the phone in modem mode to connect PC to internet .... etc....etc...
well ... one thing is for sure X'mas is early this year...

DH received the text at 9pm the other night as well. However apart from the confirm postcode phone call, he still hasn't received an email from Nielson. I should know as it goes to my email address! Here's hoping they get sent "soon" as his 5800 has a broken screen and he's been hanging out on upgrading due to being selected for the N8.

Lazy, both myself and DH have been checking both inbox and spam and still nothing received. Oh well, lets wait and see. Although DH would rather it was earlier rather than later due to his busted 5800.

Just been home to check if any parcels have been delivered or if there is a note to say they tried to deliver. Nothing! BooooooooO!

with it being a week after receiving the initial email, I have just called them for an update.
they advised that they have no way of tracking each item. they advised that all items were dispatched the end of last week so we need to wait longer for them.
I also asked how long I should wait to call them before they would consider it missing. :eek:they advised 1month.:eek:

they also advised that over 260 handsets were sent out so considering each package is worth between £400-£500 im suprised they didnt want to spend just that little bit extra to get tracking numners for the items.

Just found this thread by accident, Nielsen have contacted me a couple of times recently and confirmed delivery to us due next week, but I have no more info then has already been posted.
