i just wish it would hurry up!!
im on the sick at the mo so its a prefect time to play with the phone uninterupted.
the amount of delivery vans going past my window is driving me crazy.

Whatever you do mate, dont hold your breath.
Having read through all the posts on this subject I cant find a single fact that makes me think that Neilsons are telling the truth.
All I can see are a lot of promises of N8`s, none of which have materialsed.
I would very much like to see you all get your phones as promised, but until then I still think the whole thing stinks. regards. FW :(:(

as Nielson have been sending me a £10 voucher as promised since the end of last year, i have no doubt to think they aren't telling the truth.
i got the text the other night to say mine will be arriving very soon. not knowing exactly when its coming is killing me!! why does everyone like the orange one? i'm hoping i get the dark grey or silver one. i think the coloured ones will stand out a bit too much making easy targets for thieves!

Apparently silver is exclusive to CPW and lime green is exclusive to Vodafone. So take your pick out of the rest...black, blue and orange!

the exclusivity doesn't apply to direct purchases from the nokia store. its only only between the uk networks and uk stores. but as we're getting something for nothing, i'm not overly fussed about the colour
just cannot wait, i just hoping it comes with swype pre-installed, or i hope there's a beta for it in the beta labs by the time the device is in our hands.

Same here, the £10 vouchers are soo useful I was also on the previous scheme before Nielson got involved and the rewards used to be even better.

As everyone seems to be guessing they might arrive friday im glad i have the day off tomorrow apart from my DIY i will be keping an eye on the door. hoping for a package to arrive.

I wouldn't hold my breath though as it's anyone's guess as to where they are! Are they even made?!

I see frustration is really kicking in now!! Let's just see what happens.

In the mean time I'm getting my last usage out of my old 5800, playing round with apps (SPB, various games) and making sure I've got all my previous c**p off the phone, contacts, photos etc...... And of course seeing what's on ebay for the N8 and seeing the ridiculous prices people are putting their N8's up for.

Its not frustration, its just excitement and anticipation. I see what you mean about people on eBay one bloke has listed an N8 for £900 I think that’s a little optimistic! I messaged to tell him so. and his reply had a lot of profanities in it.

personally im going to keep mine! After all it saves me buying an upgrade this year!

don't forget guys, the terms state you have to use the phone for at least 6 months. the last thing you want is a bill for a phone you never wanted!! 6 months should work out good for me, i've been holding off changing my phone until meego makes it to the market. at the rate release dates are slipping, i'm guessing 6 months should be about right for switching to nokias latest OS
