Am I being awful?

Yes - assuming that is actually what he has said, and it has not been 'paraphrased' by OP. (I'm not saying she has, I'm just pointing out that it doesn't really prove anything one way or the other.)
SORRY, again wouldnt it be possible for him to text me in a positive manner??? Why always the negative??0 -
I must say again, I dont have the same opinion as OP, but it does appear that ANYTHING she says has a negative spin put on it by lots of the posters on here.0

The OP is either in denial or deaf and dumb but clearly not mute with her fingers.
OP claims to have made no decisions yet?? Well that's what I've read.0 -
Thats cos shes treating her husband like a muppet, disrespecting some innocent woman and her baby, and meeting up with some chap that she should have outgrown
HTH
(and yes I'm aware that this post is harsh, the more tactful way of saying it has been exhausted in the last 200+ posts)0 -
By phone its in my post. I rang him and he has since texted me back.OK.
And by chance he was alive and well and still had the same phone number as he did 12 years ago?
What on earth possessed you to ring him??
That's even worse than facebooking him for example, as you could have just come across him while looking for someone else/on someone else profile.
You made a conscious decision to ring him, with no thought for what can of worms you might be opening?
You're clearly not happy with your life as it is now ~ I really feel for your husband.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I think the title of the thread should be changed to "Why am I being awful?"0

I have to agree with all this.
Meeting up by chance is one thing but to actively seek him out by ringing him does look like you are looking for something outside your marriage.0 -

Why have you replied to my thread twice? Very odd.
I hadn't made any assumptions about the OP; just thought after nearly 300 posts of everybody telling her the same stuff, the thread should be shut down or moved. Its now become boring and she's obviously dumb or a very calculating immature person. She's got one motive behind all of this but too cowardly to admit to it.0 -
What more do you need to know about this chap that a long phonecall won't answer?
Only if the chemistry is there?
I hope he has aged dreadfully! He's tied up with a mortgage, stuck in a dead end job and has a pot belly. That'll cure you
Then go back to your real life and forget all this nonsence.
