Waving at drivers who have the same car as you?!

Dangerous if you drove a series 3 BMW. You'd never have your hands on the steering wheel.
I just do the manly 'nod of the head' in their direction.
I always wave at BMW drivers when they cut me up, well its a sort of wave...
What is it with people with the 1 series (completely pointless car) or the bottom of the range 3 and 5 series models, they all drive like tw%t$?
People in classic cars wave at each other!I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling

I think the reason these people behave like that is because they tend to be young and think that since they have a poverty spec BM or Merc that they are in some way superior, you see it a lot in London, especially with Golf drivers.0

I thought it was only me that got waved at! I have a PT Cruiser and get waved at by other cruiser owners all the time. To be honest though I pretend I haven't noticed as feel a bit of a prat waving back.0

When I've been driving classic cars I always wave or flash lights at fellow enthusiasts. It's the same now with other 'series' Land Rover drivers.0

May be they think they know you

Yeah I do,when I had my elderly VW Transporter,, other VW drivers waved to me and I back at them ~ in fact, I loved Vera so much I still wave when I see one now.
The same with the elderly Series 2 Safari landrover. DH loathed the old battle bbus, but ALfie and I were good friends, and we didn't mind the leaks, the bumps and the occasional odd noise.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
So people really do go around waving at a lump of metal...:rotfl::D
Funny old world innit....:)0 -
Happened to me once, coming out of Tesco. Realised why when I braked at the roundabout and 1/2 the shopping came rolling down the windscreen

I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
OH had (for 20 years until scrappage beckoned - he still hates me for it) a BMW Bauer cabriolet - not many about and yes, people did wave, even on the continent - in fact more so on the continent, especially in Holland and Germany - we would come back to the car and there would always be a few people looking at it.0
