In the UK many years ago we would raise a hand (fingers) off the steering wheel to other VW drivers. This was in the days of approx 70mph closing speeds! I have never seen it done by any other drivers.0

My daughter has a classic mini, they always wave to each other.Another reason why Toyota owners can't risk taking their hands off the wheel though." July 29, 2010 -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today announced that it intends to conduct a voluntary safety recall involving approximately 373,000 2000-2004 Model Year Toyota Avalons sold in the United States to address the possibility that the vehicle’s steering lock bar could break under certain conditions. No other Toyota or Lexus vehicles are involved in this recall."0

That is a " voluntary " recall, how often do you see the likes of GM, Ford etc. actually volunteer to sort their cars?
Well done Toyota,
At least every Toyota in the country is safe to use on a Driving Test, unlike some Vauxhalls.

Bit of an own goal for you (again) You appear to have linked to a voluntary GM recall, (without all the pressure Toyota had).
Back on thread.
Do you wave to other Toyota's?0
