I get id'd all the time, I'm 28 too and I'm young looking. I got id'd for paracetamol which you have to 16 to buy it  I had my then 7 and 3 yr old kids with me too :rotfl:
I know I will be grateful for my young looks when I'm older  lol0 -
guess it must get annoying/frustrating after a while, but from the "other side" i have to do the asking and it is sooo hard to try and work out people's ages, even worse since the "think 25" campaign was launched. everyone who i work with agree its a very hard think to judge. We are told we have to id ALL members of a group buying booze etc..which understandably causes friction but the consiquences are not worth the risk. it also makes for tough calls when its a couple of teenagers with a parent as this is a very grey area and none of our managers can seem to agree on when we should refuse/allow a sale:o
so appologies to anyone who i may have asked for id and embaresssed but as others say look on it as a complimentLead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
I do to I'm also 28 but I just don't let it bother me:pEveryone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070

I've been ID'd a few times but it tends to be the case that me and OH get dirty looks when we're out together - he laughs when I take my passport when we go into town in case I get ID'd - I think most people think he's my dad or something :rotfl:*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Op - Give it 2 years and you will find it amusing.
I went to a nightclub on my 30th Birthday, got asked for ID, i didnt have any with me but I couldnt stop laughing so they let me in anyway!
5 years on i still get asked occasionally and you start to find it's a compliment that they think you look young, remember these days they have to be very careful so often ask people even if they think they look 25!0 -
Well hun, I am in my mid 30's and I still get ID.
I twist round and say:
a) i look fab despite the white hairs and the growing lines
b) they are doing their job. I would rather they ask, then let a 17 yr get away with buying a drink :P
A silver lining...0 -
I'm 33 and still get IDd. I am very short, and I look younger than I am. I am very very pleased to be asked! Though my BF worries in case people think he is a cradle snatcher0

I wish!!
I'm 40 now and was never ever ID'd, apart from one time I was refused entry to an over 21s pub (well I was only 16:o)
I wish I looked 10 years younger than I do now, I have always looked older than my years, give it time and you'll begin to appreciate your youthful looks.;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Im 26 and I get asked for ID usually every other week when I do my weekly shop, I used to get really annoyed about it, but now I just say its ok your only doing your job, it just means another shop gets my money, lol.
When I was 24 I did get asked for ID to buy a scratch card, all the staff knew me but the woman wouldn't believe any of us.
The only ID I have is my Passport and its not something I like to carry about with me.
I know a lot of people think its nice for people to think you are younger than you are but when there's a queue behind you it can be very embarrassing. Specially when for some reason I go bright red when im asked.0 -
I'm almost 28 and I get ID'd when I buy booze every now and again. I always have my drivers licence with me so it's no big deal, more amusing than anything else.Debt: Started at £4780, now at £4190
Comp Wins 2014: None yet0
