Well, my dinner was lovely :) 250g mince, 320g onions, an oxo cube, 15g flour, 150ml water, salt and peppere, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, and the pastry as for the chicken and onion pie - makes a big, thick pie (even after I've been quality testing the filling on and off for the most of the afternoon) - we had a quarter each with roast potatoes and veg, and are now well stuffed !

Is the stuff about adapting the plan for a single person on the website? I'm e-mailing the link to a friend and wanted to give her the link to the adapting bit so that she isn't put off by it being for four but I can't find it.

I fancy chicken pie tomorrow, I have a load of chicken breasts in the freezer, can/how do I cook them so they act like they're from the poached chicken as per the recipe?
Any guess as to how many I'll need they're frozen in 2's and 3's depending on size

    hi all :)
sami, good question about the pies! ok they each use a quarter of a whole chicken, so one breast would be slightly less meat and 2 would be slightly more! in real terms it'd be about 1.5 breasts per pie iyswim?if they are skinless your pie will be lower fat too.

also, re your oil question, i used to think in terms of oily fish for omega 3, but it was out of the pricerange of these planners. So i was very glad to find that the asda vegetable oil is 8% omega 3. We have used some of it unheated, so there is also enough to do benefit without any destruction by heat iyswim?

    fab photos btw :)

susan, venus is currently working on the adaptions article, sorry about that. Would your friend be able to come on here for advice in the meantime or are we a bit scary? :)
