I still haven't made the brownies yet but really want to. Does anyone know whether the amont of sugar on the recipe is the amount we are to use or has it been reduced since then?
Brownies, cheesecake.. there's so much yummy food to make, we are spoiled for choice!
I was hoping the sugar could be reduced and a few folk have said that 240g will still be very sweet. Please add an extra 30g self-raising flour tho, as I think there won't be enough dry weight now we've reduced the sugar!
Thanks for testng and I look forward to hearing how they taste! Especially from the sweet-toothed Mr Hayley :rotfl:

Has anyone tried adding 'things' to the Brownies? I have some OOD white choc buttons, strawberry/white buttons and mini fudge squares - I'm thinking the fudge would work well, but buttons? are they best bunged in biccies?0

the other bits sound good specially the white buttons, but I think I'd be tempted to shake over the top and press in rather than stirring in as i think they will quickly melt, and so if stirreds in will just homogenise IYSWIM?
Do pop back and say what works
shanks: very cheeky, very cheeky. You are on you final written warning now. That is all.

:rotfl:DS3 andB have found a rat living in the garden. They have gone out to try to catch it. DS3 wants to know if you have a recipe for ratatouille. Or are we becoming too frugal!!
Apologies to those with ratty petsWe used to have one too
Just organising DS3 to go away againMaybe I will be back properly when he has gone. Then we will be down to just three of us!

Verdict on lemon cheesecake was good. Lemon could have been doing with being pulverised a bit more so will use hand blender next time. Ex enjoyed it as well (always a bonus) and we would both happily have it again. xx0
