No, it's just the RBS branches & attached customers.
    You don't bank with RBS.

Think just pay RBS to use their infrastructure.

    HI

Im with ThinkBanking with Sort code 16 16 23 ive tried the sort code checker on the RBS Website andit cant find it.
Although ThinkBanking are their own entity they use RBS to administer the two accounts.

Would it be likely that ThinkBanking will move over to Santander and the sortcodes change to the 0901 types and if they do does that mean that Santander will ruin ThinkBanking services.

    Thanks

The sort code is attached a RBS admin centre in Bolton , England

Will RBS be retaining any admin centres in England (other than Southend Credit cards) ?

Yesterday I received my debit card and chequebook for the new account I've opened with the Oban branch. It's also now showing on my digital banking.

Ironically I also received yesterday confirmation that my welsh branch rbs account would be moved in arounf 12/18 months time !

I will now start the process of moving all of my standing orders and dd's etc to my new account to ensure that santander do not get their grubby hands on my details !:j

I don't know about admin centres themselves, but the branch at their spinningfields admin offices (in Manchester) is being transferred to Santander.

No, as several others have said, Thinkbanking is NOT part of RBS. They hold accounts at RBS, like many other companies. They will continue to offer their own expensive service regardless of the sale.

Actually, Santander might have added some class to Thinkbanking!

It's the branch at 3 Hardman Boulevard. Manchester will be awash with Santander branches. 3 in a 100 metre stretch of Mosley Street.
  • W & G customer then with RBS. Will transfer to Natwest as soon as I can get an appointment with the Bank. Had thought about transferring RBS branch but its a long way to Scotland. Under no circumstances would I go with Santander. I shall really miss the excellent staff at the Sunderland RBS.
