Beware O2 Broadband

Firstly I have used this site for years and would recommend it highly. I signed up with O2 Broadband after having seen it recommended on the main site. I was aware it was more expensive because of the area I lived in, but that wasn't an issue. The recommendation didn't say that O2 access gave you less download rights on their Unlimited service. When I had a bad experience with O2 I posted here to avoid others making the same error I had made (which I believed was O2's fault, not this site's). The reason I mentioned the recommendation on here in my original post was that was what made my post relevant to users of this site. You claimed (using your mind reading powers) that my original post wasn't a warning. I would suggest you look up the meaning of the word 'Beware". From the very first response several people have agreed with me, but you deny this. I posted on this thread that I was unaware till now of the difference in terms between LLU and Access. According to you that made me uneducated, and stupid. You also cast doubt on the truth of other posts I have made regarding my actual usage, a txt from O2,my control over my children and accused me of exaggeratrion. You have had no
reason to do this or any facts on which to base any of this. Your pomposity, agressiveness and failure to see what is written are the hallmarks of your posts. Other posters have agreed with me about O2 Access, others have said that the recommendation on the site is not clear about the difference. You are a small mided fool who attempts to look big on the internet by trying to belittle others. I have no doubt you are a coward in real life and wouldn't dare to make the statements you make online face to face to an adult. You really aren't worth any more of my time. My purpose in posting has been served, anyone reading this thread will know the dangers of signing up to O2 Broadband's Access package expecting to get the unlimited downloads they pay for. Hopefully the second benefit will be that everyone here has seen you for the bullying, rude, small minded, blinkererd coward that you are.
Thank for your long winded monologue.
I am glad that we were able to educate you as to the differences between the BT supplied Access package and O2 LLU service..
Perhaps now you know of your 'mistake', you should adapt your title to include Access.
Unfortunate for you that even after being a member of this website for "years"Firstly I have used this site for years
Perhaps you will be a little more diligent in the future.
I don't remember reading these posts that you claim are in agreement with you. Maybe just one.
No I'm not afraid to say exactly what I say here in front of you. I also don't mind you reacting in the 'emotional' way you have here.
Everyone should have some freedom to express their point of view.
It's only if you decided to use violence as a way of communication, that you would realise that you made a terrible mistake.
Spend up to six months a year training to fight, but still prefer to talk.
Actually I think you are the one who wouldn't dare to say in person what you write.
But who cares eh?
This is about your attempt to pass the buck, rather than take some responsibility.
If you think me making a statement about you trying to 'pass the buck' is bullying, as opposed to your veiled threats; it is clear, together with your 'buck passing' attempt, that you have a twisted mind.
Take a chill pill, as they say.

My minimum 1 year term with O2 has just come to an end... of course I looked around for a better deal but no one could even touch O2 for price, regardless of the service element (which I am 95% certain no one could touch them for either).
It was a no-brainer in the end, it works great, the price is amazing and their service is excellent.. the decision was already made.
Next thing an e-mail drops into my mailbox from O2 - sign up for another 12 months and get 25% discount (i.e. 3 months free).. I couldn't click the link to re-sign fast enough.
Good work O2
Oh and for the record, I think O2 are the most expensive mobile phone network out there... if only their phone deals were as good as their broadband.0 -
Agree with you on the service quality, but if you ring up at renewal time they will offer you a £2.50pm discount (if you're on the Standard LLU service with the £5 O2 mobile discount), this works out at a £30 annual saving rather than £22.50.
But I would happily pay the full £12.50 if I had to.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Don't agree with this. Quite happy with my contract. Especially as I got £100 cashback via Quidco. Haven't seen anything better for what I pay.
Will be getting on the phone to them soon, to discuss the discount they might like to offer me for being such a loyal customer.0 -

You do realise every post you make reinforces your stupidity?0
