4.35miles for me on Friday. Started really well, legs feeling good and nice stride going on. Then at 2.5mi the stride shortened but kept going at it felt ok. :)
9mi hike on the coast yesterday, what a lovely day it was.

I did 3 miles on Friday and that was my first run this week (I have been resting). It was an easy run, really, and I could have carried on had I had enough time :) I didn't run yesterday but I might today....depends if DH takes the littlies to his DM's for a bit ;)

Still running on the treadmill, but am more confident about going out now, so it may happen!

k_bagpuss - bad news about your job :( I hope another one comes up soon x

  • Go on Little MH, it's lovely out at the moment - and the scenery is better than on the treadmill :-)

My run took me along the coast this morning too tirlittan, 13 miles in the sunshine. It was perfect running weather today and I saw loads of other runners out and about too.

Hmm, I can tell I'm out of practice on here .... I can't seem to find the smilies.

    Happy running everyone!

  • A gentle 4 mile run to work this morning for me and then another 4 home at the end of the day. I had to carry my safety shoes in my rucksack on the return journey - that made it more of a challenge

It was another lovely running day but very smelly as I got nearer home - the tractors were out 'muck' spreading in the fields. Very, very smelly _pale_

    Hi all.
I was feeling very tired on Monday so didn't go for the planned run. Thought about hoovering but when I got home I just sat down and chilled and it was exactly what I needed. Tuesday I was busy so no exercise again (funnily enough, I'm not counting vb training as exercise, that's just base level stuff that I do).
Today should be fine so will go for a run, planning around 4.5miles.

Well, there'll be no running for me tonight. I slightly pulled a muscle at training on Monday on the side of my back and it's progressively gotten worse. After short cycle home just now it's gone really bad, it actually hurts to sit or walk. It didn't feel that bad on the bike but it obviously didn't appreciate it. :(:(:( It's such a lovely day as well. Might try a gentle walk later but we'll see...

Hope you feel better soon tirlittan and it heals well for you - take it steady

I'm resting up trying to get over this muscle compactedness and seeing lots of runners out there and feeling quite envious of them while I have to rest. Had 2 physio sessions and now covered in bruises! Hoping only another 2 or 3 sessions left!

I hope those of you with injuries make a quick and proper recovery!

I have had a lovely run this evening - 7.5 miles in 75 mins so perfect timing really - gorgeous evening out there. Just me, my ipod and the sun setting over the fields. It is times like this that I know just why I enjoy running so much!

Hi all - just got back from 5 miles on the beach with the dog. The dog is shattered which is good but so am I.

I need to cycle to work tomorrow as working near aintree and probably quicker and easier to cycle there.

We will see, have a look at weather in morning
