I started off by running outside, but its just easier for me to go into my garage onto the treadmill - having said that I only really need to when the children are home from school and DH isn't here and in the week I run while they are at school anyway! I suppose I have just got used to running in private - I am planning on getting myself out there soon.......! Have a good runBe the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

did a good seven miler friday night and then a relatively slow 9 miler on saturday.
Went down the beach on saturday but everybody had the same idea so couldnt let the dog off the lead.
Cant stop sneezing this morning, was going to do a bike ride followed by run but dont feel like doig anything. Pouring down and windy outside anyhow.

After not running at all last week and realising I had only run twice in Feb I thought I'd better go out - need to get back out running again and stop making excuses not to go. Finding it hard to keep motivated at this time of year for some reason.
And as it wasn't raining as forecast I went out and took my dog with me for the first time. It was great! Only ran for 30mins today as a bit out of practice but at least I got out there. What puts me off sometimes is I get back from work, take the dog for a walk and then go for a run when I want to sit down! Hoping I can combine to two now and we both get more exercise. I wasn't sure what he would be like as he's very giddy, it went really well and he was more or less well behaved.
Plus I now feel great for having gone out for a run and he's asleep in his basket after his quick trot to my run pace!

I applied for a place with the Motor Neurone Disease charity. That's who I was going to raise money for anyway so hopefully I'll get a place in their team. If not, I have other options, but it's close to my heart, so I hope I get in with them
Good luck! Let me know how you get on as its a charity close to my heart too and one that often gets overlooked
Just caught up with the thread - lots of us sounding positive and getting some good distances in - I'm going backwards in distance atm when will I ever get to 9 miles?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
well done 'fedup' I bought my dog specifically for going out running with. He has saved me the gym membership and also when I get in from work he barks until I take him out.
I get in from work get changed and then go straight out, all over by 6.30, the dog asleep on the settee and I've done my bit.
Much easier than going out to gym coming home then walking the dog. Combining the two is great apart from the fact that I used to be quicker than the dog.Year 2019 (1,700/£17000mortgage repayment)Overall mortgage (71,400/165568) (44

Sounds good lea!
My dog just trotted at a quick walk alongside me. I wasn't sure what he would be like as he likes to dart at all angles randomly however he kept going pretty good today. Still thinking about getting another one, not sure how I would run with 2!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hi people,
yesterday I did teach a course all day; finished at 4pm and felt really tired. But then put my running kit on and ran back home - about 5 miles. It was a dry, sunny day and it felt great.
Today will rest - have been working hard so will just go to a park.

Its ok with two - sometimes I take my friends dog as well!
If I get on the beach I normally just let them go mad whilst I do a 4 mile stretch where I know there wont be any other people.
Yesterday didnt go to this bit as it means driving to the start.
I do the 4 miles each way whilst they must run double thisYear 2019 (1,700/£17000mortgage repayment)Overall mortgage (71,400/165568) (44

Afternoon all
I did 6 miles in 59.2 this morning, it was windy and rainy so I'm more than happy with that! Was meant to be doing a Half Marathon today, but haven't put in enough mileage so had to give it a miss.
Happy running everyone :T0 -
Did 6.4 miles in 60 mins today
Also my sister came round today and she is doing the London marathon this year (she is a new runner and doing it for charity) so she has said that from next week she will be running on Monday with her running partner and asked if I wanted to go out tooI suppose that is the kick up the bum I needed to start running outside...I'm curious to know how it will effect my running, being outside, and also how I will cope running with other people and not having a movie to distract me! We shall see in a few weeks (can't do the next 3 Mondays!)
Happy running all xBe the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi
