1.5 miles last Thursday and again today. Thursday was hard going but today I was flying (apart from the last uphill
) Hoping to get out of the house this Thursday early enough to have time do the loop twice.

Last night's running club was so hard that I did not even have the energy to write. We were taken to the hillet and let lose for 25 minutes continuosly. Then asked: 'How did this feel?' The answer was 'Sick!'

Did 3 miles today very slowly and now I am pooped. Soooo unfit. But considering that it was probably last July when I last time ran anything longer than 2 I am delighted. :j"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Well done Marru :T and Whoop Whoop to YOU LittleMiss :T:T:T That is good going - the time doesn't matter, that will come but it's such a great feeling to crack the distance!
Are you training for a race? (sorry if I've missed it) I'm waiting to hear if I've got a place in the GNR. It's looking doubtful as it was drawn on Monday and I reckon I'd have heard by now
So I'll wait for confirmation and then try for a charity place.
Did 3 miles in 26.20 last night. I really pushed myself to go all out in places and it felt good! I'm aiming to do an 8/9 miler this weekend and some Pilates at home to stretch out my muscles. Happy running everyone0 -
Well done, people. I am just back from the gym - it was press-ups, squats and pull-ups for me today. Painful, hard, stomach renching...but it feels so much better when I am done with it. Sitting here, still too much to do...but do I give a toss? Do I, heck! Long last this feeling...

Will definitely be running tomorrow, though x Hope you ahev all been getting soem good runs in
macgirl - no, not training for a race, just testing myself against myselfThanks for the encouragement - did you get the place in the GNR?
Marru - it's great you're getting out there and building yourself up again

No place sadly
Bit gutted, but I didn't get in through the ballot last year and still ran it
I applied for a place with the Motor Neurone Disease charity. That's who I was going to raise money for anyway so hopefully I'll get a place in their team. If not, I have other options, but it's close to my heart, so I hope I get in with them.
Well done for being so self-motivated - you must feel great!0 -
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, macgirl
I would like to enter a race, but I want to wait until I have some outside running under my belt before I do thatThe sun has been out again today so am seriously considering going out, on a short run day at first, and seeing how I feel (I have always disliked doing something which may make people look at me
)
3.3 miles today in 30 mins (checked the time and 3 mile in exactly 27 mins on tm) - wanted to push myself a bit, but still think I could do better as I was still watching a movie and running quite comfortably really.......next short run I will go faster and see how I do.
Good luck with your running everyonex

Do you do all your running on a treadmill LMH? You should give it a whirl outside. Some say it's harder, but it's defo more enjoyable - when you've got home at least
I'm off out for a run shortly, can't decide on the distance, but I will once I'm out there. Best get my gear on as it'll start getting dark soon.
Well done Missy - you're so motivated! :T:T:T0
