Thanks to you all for the support. It is amazing how much running can change you isn't it. I now have more confidence and feel that anything is achievable. It also helps me deal with my debt as while I'm running I'm not out spending!!

I am glad running is free too!

A couple of years ago I cancelled my gym membership after not going for 2yrs and only using it occasionally for the 2 yrs previous to that meaning I wasted a load of money.

This week has been a great running week and I've bought my new trainers (£70), 2 pairs of running capri tights (£6.50 each) and a new running jacket (£15) for later in the year for £35 less than the full price of the trainers.

My new trainers are great and the capri tights and the jacket is to make me go out in the rain that will come

Compared to the money I used to waste on the gym membership and how long all these new things will last me makes me glad I've taken up running again as my last trainers lasted about 10yrs and I'm looking forward to getting lots of use out of them!

    Hi guys,

just back from a hot a sticky session - thank goodness there is a foresty bit near us and a playground in the midlle of it. So run there (about 10 min.) and after that it was circuits for me (jump squats, jumps on a nd off a bench, press ups, jumps again, pull ups, V-sits, sprints; and so several times). I am not going to get arrested (hopefully) but there are people resting there in the cool and they look at me as if I have landed from Mars. Well, it is this or enrolling in a Serb army camp - wondering whether they have these here or I have to go to Serbia.

    Better stick with the playground.

I love innovate but I couldn't really find a pair that were suitable for giving enough support. I ended up getting the brooks ASR's as they are great for trail but equally as good on road (not as good as road specific) I LOVE them....and they were a suprise present so even better :)
