Yippeeee the mental barrier has finally been broken... just completed my first 10k in 59mins 45. Never thought I'd do a 10 k as 4 months ago I couldn't run for more than 2 mins without stopping!

I'm lucking forward to my next one now and maybe even a race.

    Well done from me wolveslass!

I looked back at some of my posts from the last 7 weeks I've been running and I can't believe how much progress I've made over that time and how much I enjoy it

Looking forward to the next run at 2.75miles and aiming for 5 runs per week and 2 days off

It is so hot here - the temperature does not go below 30C. So not much running done but there is a foresty bit near our apartment so have been going there doing circuits. Otherwise trying to have long walks late at night and losing weight. Eating mostly tomatoes, feta cheese and fruit - so by the time we get back I'll be a skinny runner.

    Part of the Furniture
Right have been using my furniture moving/rearranging as an excuse not to exercise - no more otherwise this willl end up like everyone other long leave period and i will make a perma dent on the sofa. So I have dug out my running kit and left it by my bedroom door so I put it on tomorrow and get out there. The first run is th hardest (but that's all I seem to do at the moment!)
