I've lost motivation and feeling tired. I might let myself off from going for a run today. Has stopped raining though and clearing up.

I bought myself my new promised trainers today earlier than planned because they had £35 off and when I tried them on they fit perfectly

Can't wait to try them out in the morning as they fit like a glove

Last run for week 7 tomorrow at 2.5miles then onto 2.75miles.

Was going to wait until I reached 5k mark to see if I stuck at the running, which I did :j

Could feel the cushioning had gone in my current pair and thought while they are a bit cheaper I'll get them!

Can't wait to try out my new asics - in fact might even go out tonight for half an hour!

Thanks sally (and bf who went for a swim after work so I had nothing better to do). I went for the run. Took it at a steady pace and it felt nice. 3.8mi in 33:27.40.

Decided to take advantage of the lovely evening and try out an after work run ready for later in the year.

Just back from Run 3 Week 7 - phew was ok just! Very slow I think, managed to keep going with no breaks

But my lovely new trainers were great! Really comfy and cushioned - bought them a week or 2 early but worth it after the first run in them!

Hello Everyone,

Great to hear you're all still at it and enjoying the running. I went to spin yesterday, which I have missed for the last 3 weeks as been on holiday and did the race for life. So 70 mins of spin was a bit of a killer after such a break.

Today I did 5K and did it in my fastest time yet, 29mins 11secs. I am still nervouis about a 10K but I really want to do it. I have ran 8K comfortably so I reckon I need to just pluck up the courage and go for it. I know a local 10K course, so I will,will do it!! There is also a local 5 mile race on in the next few weeks so I may do that too.

Keep up the good work everyone.
