Hello all!
Have been awol for awhile but now back with vengance.
Other hobbies and activities have taken over in the past couple of months and I haven't managed to do a lot of running.
Looks like in May I only managed to do one run a week, and in June and July only a couple in the whole month. Have been otherwise active though with indoor and beach volleyball, mountain biking, softball, climbing, salsa, walking and cycling to work each day.
But now I want to get back into running as planning quite a few fun races for October/November. So went for a run last night and was quite pleased with my time as legs felt like lead. Did my usual run, about 3.8mi in 33:36.
The races I want to attend are:
3/10 - Men's Health Survival of the Fittest 10k assault course,Cardiff Bay
17/10 - Mudrunner in Eastnor Castle, Hereforshire
24/10 - Cardiff Burn - Run/Cycle/Kayak in Cardiff
7/11 - HellRunner in Delamere
I've never done anything like the above before so want to get bit more stamina and make the running easy again. Looking forward to it all though!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

well I have to say, no running for me this evening as i was on a late one from work so I have got in, done the shred and will leave it there until tomorrow morning where i may well head out pre work (that'll be super early!!!) off to D's for the weekend so I know we will get lots of exercise done there, planning on an exceptionally long cycle ride on saturday and if we dont do something on friday then i will pop out for a run sometime.

Evening:D
Still no exercise from me as felt rough Mon/Tues but will definitely be out tomorrow. Have to get out since my dd said I had a fat belly, which I didn't think was too bad! Not posting my measurements but I took them on Monday and have quite a lot to work on.
Well done on your 30 min run Fortune and everyone else getting out there.
Ready for Jillian again tomorrow.0 -
Well 5K today and then 40 mins in the gym. I was going to do shred tonight too but I may opt for a bit of a rest instead!LBM Jul 2010:[STRIKE] £29717.06[/STRIKE]

Shin been really bad again. I am off tomorrow for my hols. We are going out on a narrow boat so if my leg gets better I can do some runs along the tow path in the morning before we slip the mooring. Or I can always run between the locks when opening and closing them if I am able. Good running everyone!"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Nothing done yesterday or today - big social event yesterday and then the knock on of being horribly exhausted today. Oh well 3 weeks of freedom coming up and I have to set myself a definite schedule or I'll spend it all on the sofa staring blankly at daytime tv.0

Hello everyone, I'm going to test out my little toe tomorrow and try a gentle 3 mile trot!
Have a good holiday Marru - hope your leg improves0
