Well done fedupandskint! No running for me and feeling iller, throat still sore and head feeling bit stuffy. Met a friend today and spend the day in town and by 4pm I was feeling pretty knackered so I think tomorrow I won't be doing anything.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Thanks tirlittan! Hope you feel better soon too.
I'm having tomorrow off running as I felt so tired today after last night which wiped me out after that run. Did walk to town and back and these eased the leg muscles off a bit.
Think I need to sort out my eating a bit better now I'm running longer. What is good for more energy and recovery? Any ideas?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
A run tonight - a gentle 6 miles in no rush, thought I'd do this one tonight and then a short quicker 4 mile one on Thurs before the dreaded long one on Friday.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

Still having trouble with my ankle
Keep on wanting to get my gear on and go for it but then it gets hurt again! Arrrgggghhhh! Maybe the only way is to just do it and hope for the best
I am envious of you fedup for getting up to the 6 miles, that is my favorite distance
Might give it another go tomorrow x

10 miles after work today - legs quite tired but eating more worked well so the energy did well this week. Need to work on improving the fitness bits over the next week or 2 then try it again.
might try a gentle 4 miles on sunday - in fact I think I will!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Of course you can - sparkles was the name that stuck to me and my user name was how I felt when I joined up. now I'm still skint but not fedup any longer. I much prefer sparkles now
Hope you're ok with your run and take it steady out there!
I feel much better this morning compared to how I felt last week after the long run. Looks like eating all day was the key and then a bath after the run too. Still tired though!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Got outside today and really enjoyed it! Wanted to wait until I'd invested in a pair of decent running trainers first. So unfortunately £80 down but I'm actually really glad I forked out for them. Only did barely 5 miles today but it was a hilly, scenic route. Took me over an hour as I had to walk up the steep bits and went very slowly to avoid injury.
Really pleased I got out there and feeling really positive about being able to complete the half-marathon now :-).0
